He frequently teased her about her age, resulting in her getting annoyed. Tayura is calm and outgoing. He is often seen being badly treated and abused by Chizuru, who forces him to do all the housework. Despite the abuse, he cares about his sister and is willing to do whatever to keep her safe and out of danger. At first, he's jealous of Kouta Oyamada and Chizuru's relationship but later starts to care for him. He also develops feelings for Akane Asahina, but she's always cold to him.
