His passions lie in writing music, as well as playing the piano, though he plays the keyboard to fit High×Joker's pop-rock image. He is considered a piano prodigy and very talented in his dealings. He tends to take the logical approach to things and can be described as strict, with a 'no-nonsense' personality. He often has to force his fellow unit members, especially Shiki Iseya and Haruna Wakazato, to study and quit fooling around in order for them to remain idols. Jun prides himself in working hard and doing his best until success is reached, but is still attempting to break out of his shell and identify his own appeals. He gets embarrassed easily and has an even shorter temper than usual when this happens. Natsuki often mentions that Jun has changed greatly as a person since becoming an idol and expresses that he likes this 'new Jun' as well. This 'new Jun' refers to Jun's more open, daring personality that he had gained through joining the club. He is more open to trying new things and taking risks; he also no longer sees becoming an idol as a burden and has learned to enjoy and appreciate the experience.
