One of Takeshi's classmates and the first friend he made after being transferred to Poppo Elementary School. He hid the fact that he was being bullied by Norio, a 5th grade student, so he wouldn't worry his grandma, until Takeshi came to his rescue. Even though he is seen as tacky by others, he has the kindest and purest heart in class, as seen when he stood by Tendou who was hated by the other boys in his class, and when he became the first real friend of Company President's Son, who had just been betrayed by his fake friends. He's close to his grandmother since his parents are always working and has a pet dog called Dandy.
