A Shiba Inu female whom Shouko found at the Suzumura shrine area. She couldn't take care of a dog herself, but Kouyou was more than happy to take her in. Kouyou originally hid Chocolat behind his house, and it later turned out his parents opposed to him keeping a dog and his father told him to get rid of her. Kouyou ended up asking Youko Hazama to care for her.

Canon became her main caretaker in Heaven and Earth and Exodus, although she accompanied Kazuki during a couple of scenes in the movie. Chocolat also instantly recognized Kouyou after he returned, and she is seen hanging out with him in the latter parts of Exodus.
