The main character of the Winter group. Takahiro was a high-school baseball player, described as the best pitcher for 50 years, who led his team to victory at Kōshien. He is attracted to Mitsuru, but when he realizes she prefers Fubuki, he helps the two get together. Taka means "hawk"

After Fubuki and Mitsuru's deaths, Takahiro survives on his own for 15 years with two wolves named after them, which he raised from puppies, until he meets Arashi, Natsu, and Semimaru of Summer group B in the ruins of Tokyo. Later, he meets Hana of Spring group, who invites him to join them.
