Dew is a thief from Verdane. He was captured and arrested by Verdane's Prince Gandolf and imprisoned in Marpha Castle, but was freed by Prince Jamke along with Edain and joined Sigurd's army in fighting in Verdane. (Source: Fire Emblem Wiki)
