Ga-Ram is an artist whose dreams are put on hold after his mother passes away due to a long-term illness when he was a child. He was then taken in by his mother's friend, where he grows up with his adopted parents and adopted brother, who treat him as their own. As an adult, Ga-Ram decides to move out of his adoptive family's home, believing he has been a burden on them for far too long and that he wants to become independent. His adoptive father, however, strikes a deal with him. Worried that he does not have enough money to afford his own place, he allows Ga-Ram to live at his mother's home (Ga-Ram's adoptive grandmother's) in the countryside as long as he promises to keep it clean and care for the home while he is there.
