Height 165 cm Lu Shaotang is the daughter of a Triad Family, which is always being hunted down for their wealth and to get revenge for the past actions of the family. She meets Sakamoto when he saves her from assassins sent to steal a key to her family's safe. In return, she would make pork buns for him and has worked at Sakamoto's store since.

Lu likes to drink, causing her to go into a "drunken mode" which powers her up in combat.

*Note: Lu was introduced with the wrong hanzi (小糖 instead of 少糖) which made her name Romanize as Xiaotang. In the first volume the mistake was noted and corrected, revealing her name should have been Shaotang. However, in the English release, Viz decided to keep using Xiaotang and have not corrected her name.*
