He gave Mia his mother's memento 'Unicorn hairpin' as a token of gratitude for saving his life. It is later revealed that he is the grandson of the Lulu tribe's chieftain, this Unicorn hairpin played a big role in the relationship between the Lulu tribe and Mia, and Wagul himself was then welcomed into the tribe.
