He is a ruthless murderer. plain and simple. Lacks human empathy and just, overall, a bad person. When a character like him, especially since he is both cute and powerful, is the main character it is easy to get a distorted view of what is right and wrong, fundamentally, he is, by far, some sort of evil. So far, we can see that he grew up with some sort of scar and that he didn't know right from wrong when a child, but now that he has had enough contact with the rest of society to differentiate what is good and bad, this is the point I lose any sort of sympathy for him.
