His signature weapon is the **Laser Rifle** (レーザーライフル ), also known as the **Ion Blaster** in the US. In most incarnations, his alternate mode is a truck, although its exact model tends to vary depending on the entry. His love interest is Elita-One (AKA Ariel) and his lifelong rival is Megatron. Note: He is often distinguished from other characters bearing the Convoy title by being referred to as **G1 Convoy**.
