Kuon Nanami is a vocalist and bassist that Eiko found singing on the streets. Nanami and Eiko immediately befriend each other, finding themselves singing in the street in their first meeting, after Eiko prevented Kuon from being taken away by the police because of her lack of a permit to perform in public.

Nanami is the vocalist and bass player of the band 'Azalea', a band she formed in the first year of high school with two of her friends, a band that a few years later would have been taken over by a large music production company. Nanami, although she was the one who reluctantly decided to collaborate with this music production company, was the first to regret it, after her band was forced to totally change music genre, wear provocative costumes for concerts, and eventually even playback concerts.
