Philippa sacrifices her life for Cordelia so that her sister can live happily in the village, but she survives the attack. After Phillipa leaves the village with Colin and Lily, the three travel and eventually settle down in a new city. Philippa and Colin eventually fall in love, get married, and live happy lives until Colin dies in a carriage accident. Colin then continues to resurrect in various bodies. The two meet in every lifetime, and Colin always experiences a tragic end.
