Colin is an orphan boy who faced frequent harassment by the townsfolk for only having one arm.

After Philippa and Cordelia arrive at the town, the townsfolk shift their attention to Cordelia. Colin recognizes that the behavior is wrong, but is unable to defend her as he knew his bullying had only stopped when she came. After Philippa is "exposed" as the witch, Colin leaves the town with Philippa and Lily. Colin and Philippa eventually fall in love and get married, but their happy marital life ends when Colin dies in a carriage accident. But, Colin eventually reincarnates and meets Philippa again, only to face another unhappy end.
