Yamai Shinji is one of the 3rd year students of Hidaka Koharu of the year 2007 and one of the Main Characters of High Score Dash. He is the quiet kid, he doesn't stand out and seems perfectly fine with being left alone by his peers, despite not showing any emotions he is hurt by the things they say to make fun of him, due to the fact he has no parents and doesn't get the love he wants, altough he has a haddit to bottle up his emotions until someone ''really'' pisses him off. Years of being bullied probably turned him into stone, both physically and mentally, as Habu-kun broke his wrist trying to punch him and he can brush off Miwa's physical abuse pretty well.
