A woman who writes a serialized manga about shogi (Japanese chess) in a girl's manga magazine. She is a rookie manga artist whose current work is her first serialization, and was Takizawa's assistant until the serialization was decided. She is shy and paranoid, and often receives various criticisms from her assistant Mizuki Hazama. She is trusted by Kaede Satou, the editor in charge of the series, because she always manages to produce work of a certain quality or higher even when the schedule is tight. She is also known as a "genius" among her collaborators such as Satou and Hazama, but she evaluates herself as "less than ordinary".
