A professor of law at the school that Yoshino and Akio attend. He specialises in civil procedure. He's friendly and takes good care of his students. He is aware of Yoshino and Akio's relationship and often teases them about their combination of a mediocre and a talented student. He was a classmate of Narita, the director of a law firm in Tokyo, and he helps Yoshino land an internship there after her graduation.
