Ruui is half French half Japanese. His mother, Marie Binoche, used to be a famous tennis player. He was on the road to becoming one of Japan's best tennis players, until he suddenly quit in junior high. He is sensitive to pressure and has fragile mental strength. However, he could not keep away from tennis and started playing for the same junior tennis club as Nobuhisa. He is stubborn and calm.
