Torako Koshi is a student at Hino Minami High School, and a highly respected one at that; being considered by many to be a "perfect girl". She is the classmate, best friend, and clubmate of Noko Shikanoko. Wanting to change for the better after her past of being a delinquent, Koshi vowed to renew her ways. Within a year, she had become the complete opposite, becoming an honor student who's athletic, kind, helpful, and adored by all. However, after meeting Shikanoko Noko, she found out the deer girls chaotic actions makes some of her delinquent-like traits slip out more often than she would like to admit, threatening to expose her dark past to their classmates and ruin her reputation. Excluding the narrator, Torako is the one of few characters to break the fourth wall, along with being able to recognize the absurdity of Shikanoko Noko's antics. On top of being an honors student, she is also very passionate about her likes and hobbies - having a collection of stuffed toys she kisses before going to bed, calling out to several shonen manga characters for help when met with difficult situations, and displaying her knack for interior design. She is also very easily embarrassed, often heavily blushing from romantic gestures like love letters, or inquiries about her love life along with getting embarrassed from situations she puts herself in and can easily swept by her own emotions.
