Kate is a British international university student who originally came to Japan to study. While studying in Tokyo, she discovered the life of idols and was scouted by the Producer after he helped her when she was lost. Kate is greatly interested and engaged in all aspects of Japanese culture, always asking questions about it to the Producer and other idols, but seems to have little knowledge about Japan's laws, as she was once quick to believe minors in Japan could drive when she mistook Wakaba Kusakabe for a kid. Her interest in Japanese culture apparently came after she heard a Japanese song on the radio in England, and was immediately captivated by it's cute nature. While the cutesy side of idols is how she got interesting in Japan's culture, she's very confident in her own body and seems interesting in showing off her sexy side as part of her idol career; however, she struggles with things like acting. She's an exceedingly friendly and social person, often greeting everyone she passes by. She's also very touchy in comparison to other idols, enjoying giving others hugs or kisses to show her affection. Though her hometown was originally just stated as England, her and her family are from a bit north of London. Her parents greatly support her idol career and it seems she's close to both of them, talking about how her love of accessories was influenced by her mother and how her father made a photo album by cutting out photos of her from her idol work. While she enjoys the food of her hometown, such as Stargazy pie, it seems she knows that it's not appealing to everyone, as in lines she warns of overestimating the cooking of the UK and talks about how it's frequently not as well-received in comparison to Japanese food. Since Kate is studying Japanese, she still has trouble with grammar, and often includes full English words or sentences into her speech.
