A student of Rokumeikan Private University, Akiharu is a relatively carefree guy. He's been friends with Mikoko since highschool, and later becomes friends with Tomoe and Muimi. Muimi threatens him often, as he has a habit of forcing his opinions onto others. Ii forgets who Akiharu is, as Ii doesn't think he's memorable. Ii describes him as looking like a relatively normal-looking guy that wears urban fashion.

After the second strangulation, Akiharu conversed with Ii and figured he'd likely be next. The next day, he was found strangled to death. Ii believes that Akiharu may have figured out the mystery and accepted his friends despite their flaws.

Though he never gets a design in the main series, he gets one in 240 gakuen, a crossover manga featuring characters from Nisio's novel series.
