Later on he makes another appearance at the abandoned lab. He is first thought to be a chimera by Ed, when he can see Shou's twisted body wrapped around the creature's upper body due to a failed alchemy experiment. Shou then wishes Ed to complete the philosopher's stone so he can then resurrect Nina whom he killed in the first place.
