At first Aoi finds Shuusei annoying and arrogant, though throughout the course of the story, she starts warming up to him. She is very good at cooking and often cooks the meals at the house.

In chapter 22, when Shuusei is leaving, Aoi is running after him in the rain, she hugs him from behind and confesses to him. He then tells her that he doesn't hold the same feelings as she does, and walks away..

In chapter 29 Shuusei kisses Aoi after a misunderstanding about him and Satsuki and as of chapter 30 they are dating.
