Leader of the Red Bird merchant guild, Rhodri is an elf who, unlike his nature-loving brethren, has dabbled in economics. With a litany of new-generation knowledge under his belt, he seeks to help educate his fellow long-eared brethren so they can prevent themselves from being enslaved by humans.

Having lost his royal status, he has been given a challenge by his benefactor - steal the "Spirit Heart", the elves' greatest treasure, and provide it to the humans and he will become a noble again. With eartips that make him look like a proper elf, he has successfully wooed the hearts of the elves... but he also despises the humans who are pushing him to do this.
