Tokiya despises how he is forced to act in-character whenever he is Hayato. He feels that by continuing with this charade he has lost his true self. For this reason, he enters the academy in order to find his true self again and hopes to debut merely as "Ichinose, Tokiya". He also mentions in-game that he dislikes Ittoki to a certain degree because his personality is very similar to 'the character Hayato.'
