Daiki is Ninako's childhood friend whom at the beginning of the story is shown to have feelings for her. His parents divorced when they were in middle school. Due to his parents separation, he decided to live with his father, he grew attached to Ninako, which explains his feelings for her, and his relationship with his older sister, Mayuka, somehow grew weak. In later chapters, he starts dating Sayuki and eventually falls for her.
