The most outgoing of the unit, with a wide circle of friends. Because of this, he often hears about various rumors happening outside the Argos Platoon, and has relationships with people outside of his close circle. He has a habit of chasing after any girl he sees, but he’s also caring and works hard to reduce tensions within the unit. Among Argos, his nickname is VG. He cultivated high piloting skills in the battles on the European front. His ability to read a situation, and his skill as a TSF pilot, make him a valued member of the team. Valerio's family is from Rome, which is now in ruins after being overrun by BETA. His older sister is Monica Giacosa, of the Rain Dancers squadron on the European Front. His grandfather used to be a car engineer, but due to the drastic world change, he became involved in the development of tactical aircraft such as the F-5E. Valerio's father was drafted into the army and died in battle on the Po Valley in northern Italy.
