Akira is the younger sister of Satomi Renbokouji. She hides in a cardboard house in the academy and is skilled at hacking, capable of gaining access to the school's cameras and computer system. She is the creator of the social media website/app WIRED and utilizes it to show the world the video footage of the Valvraves fighting the Dorssia forces. Akira has an extreme case of social anxiety, but she gradually opens up to and befriends Shoko Sashinami.

In S1E12, Akira becomes the pilot of the Unit 06 (RM-069 Valvrave VI Hiasobi) in order to save Shoko. She is skilled as a pilot, capable of taking down enemies with military training. She is determined in keeping her loved ones safe, even if it means facing her biggest fears.
