4 short stories about Touken Danshi's encounters with ayakashi:

1. Kyūbi no kitsune (Nine-tailed fox) A squad of Touken Danshi travels to year 1135 to prevent the Time Retrograde Army from changing history. Here they meet Abe no Yasuchika and join forces with him in order to defeat the TRA and save emperor Toba from an ayakashi.

2. Mayoiga (House of the lost) A swordsmith gets lost in the mountains while being chased by an ayakashi and accidentally stubles into the honmaru. The Touken Danshi are suprised by this unexpected guest...

3. The picture ghost Kashū and Nikkari take shelter from rain in an abandoned house. They soon discover it's not as empty as they thought - a ghost of a child from nearby painting appears before them...

4. Tengu A Touken Danshi squad one again fights against the combined forces of the TRA and ayakashi, this time lead by a tough opponent, the Tengu.
