High school student Akane Amou has been banned from accessing all sorts of media from a young age. As a result, even the mildest of romance dramas prove too graphic for her to enjoy. However, aside from this unusual quirk, Akane is a model student beloved by students and teachers alike. One day, Akane walks in to her classmate Fuyumine watching a vulgar scene in the Film Research Club room. Fuyumine is quick to explain that she came at an unfortunate time—what was playing was merely a sensitive scene in an R15+ movie. In the face of a doubtful Akane, Fuyumine convinces her to stay and watch the film together to prove his innocence.
